Overview: A Wealth Manager is a cornerstone of the client journey—from onboarding through long-term success. They design and implement personalized financial plans, bring thoughtful recommendations to life, and continuously evolve client strategies as goals change. In this role, the Wealth Manager combines deep product expertise with rigorous due diligence, uncovers new opportunities within existing relationships, and develops mastery in a specialty that sets them apart. This role is ideal for professionals driven by impact, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for building lasting client relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the firm’s financial planning platform for clients, including:
    • Creating new client portals and acting as the primary point of contact for data gathering and entry.
    • Updating client financial information as necessary.
    • Providing monthly updates to financial planning clients.
    • Completes independent analysis of a client’s financial situation.
    • Generates written financial plans and recommendations.
  • Develops client proposals either independently or in coordination with Wealth Advisors to include:
    • Life Insurance proposals/illustrations
    • Advisory Account Proposals
    • Long Term Care Proposals
    • Illustrating Complex Financial Planning Strategies
  • Coordinates with Client Service Advisors to implement client recommendations and is accountable for successful client onboarding.
  • Reviews and monitors the strategy in place for each client and recommends updates or changes when appropriate.
  • Provides product expertise and due diligence information for client advisory, insurance, and annuity recommendations.
  • Provides additional knowledge, expertise, and thought leadership around the firm’s 3 areas of focus:
    • Holistic Financial Planning
    • Asset Management; Private and Public Markets
    • Insurance
  • Trains and mentors Client Service Advisors to become future Wealth Managers.

Job Requirements:

  • Impeccable communication and people skills.
  • 3-7 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Series 65 or Equivalent
  • Life/Health General Lines Agent
  • CFP Certificate, or other SME designation
  • Experience with the EOS® Model, Process, and Toolbox preferred
  • Experience with SEC Compliance requirements
  • Background and understanding of terminology associated with Insurance highly preferred
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Orion and eMoney or similar platforms
  • Continued demonstration of attending business education, workshops, and seminars
