Objectives
• Write engaging and persuasive promotional and informational digital content and optimize existing copy to drive prospect traffic and lead generation on website pages, blog posts, landing pages, eBooks, emails, and social posts.
• Solid understanding of content SEO tactics including but not limited to SEO titles & meta descriptions, keyword-centric copywriting, image optimization, site structure, link-building.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, sometimes requiring short turnaround times.
• Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trends.
• Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Interpret project briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned projects.
• Research and understand the subject matter expert’s needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with our subject matter experts, and in-person meetings.
• Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials.
• Oversee and execute graphic design associated with all marketing materials.
• Review web analytics and SEO reports, make recommendations for continued improvements.
• Collaborate with team members from concept development to distribution strategy.
• Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal marketing team.
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years professional copywriting experience with solid portfolio of work.
• Experience in writing for the financial services industry.
• Exceptional writing and research skill.
• Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational skill and multitasking ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, Google Analytics, other graphic design software.
• Google Ads and paid social media experience.
• A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design.
