Key Responsibilities
Advisor Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to attract top financial advisors to Granite Harbor Advisors.
• Source, identify, and engage prospective advisors through industry networking, direct outreach, and referrals.
• Evaluate and assess advisor candidates based on experience, cultural fit, and alignment with firm values.
• Lead and manage the advisor hiring process, ensuring a smooth transition and onboarding experience.
Third-Party Recruiting Partner Management
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with external recruiting firms and talent acquisition professionals.
• Coordinate recruiting efforts with third-party partners to ensure alignment with firm hiring goals.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting partnerships and recommend process improvements.
Advisor Training & Development
• Design and implement comprehensive training programs to onboard new advisors and enhance their industry knowledge.
• Provide ongoing professional development opportunities, including sales training, client relationship management, and business development strategies.
• Collaborate with internal leadership team to develop educational resources and structured learning initiatives.
Mentorship & Advisor Growth
• Serve as a mentor to advisors, providing guidance on career development, practice management, and client service excellence.
• Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions to assess advisor progress and offer personalized support.
• Facilitate a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the advisor team.
• Identify growth opportunities for advisors to expand their practice and improve client outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial services, advisor recruiting, or talent development.
• Strong network within the wealth management and financial advisory industry.
• Experience managing external recruiting partners and hiring processes.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop financial advisors at various career stages.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to advisor success.
